“Healing is a matter of time but it is also sometimes a matter of opportunity”
Just like many people tend to think … Hypnotherapy is NOT mind control. The client is always in charge and in control during our sessions. Hypnotherapy deals with aspects of the subconscious mind as opposed to other forms of talk therapy where the therapist only deals with the conscious aspect of the mind.
The deep relaxation and focus exercise used in hypnotism helps to calm and subdue the conscious mind so that it takes a less active role in the thinking process. The client is fully aware of what’s going on and the conscious mind takes a backseat to the subconscious mind. This allows the hypnotherapist and the client to work directly with the subconscious mind.
You are always in control of your own mind!
It cannot be stressed enough that no changes can be made unless the client is cooperating with the therapist. The hypnotherapist is only a catalyst to achieve the desired results. Therefore trust between the client and therapist is essential and the client’s motivation to want the change is essential for successful outcomes.
In hypnotherapy the client is guided into a state of hypnosis by the therapist. Hypnosis is a deep relaxation state, in which one is more open to make positive changes and you control it your self.
